Is Halcyon custodial? +

No. The recommended path (/connect) generates an agent wallet that you authorize from your main wallet via a signed message. The agent key is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and can only call Nado's order endpoints — never withdraw. Your main wallet, where every airdrop attribution accrues, never leaves your hands.

How does the agent wallet preserve my $INK airdrop? +

Nado's subaccount system attributes activity to a primary address. Halcyon's agent operates as a delegated trader linked to your main wallet — points, volume, and airdrop checkpoints accumulate on your main address. Throwaway-wallet bots break this attribution; Halcyon doesn't.

What is a Builder Code, and why does Halcyon use one? +

Nado's Builder Code program lets third-party clients route trades through their unique ID and earn a share of protocol fees. Halcyon attaches its Builder ID to every order via a 64-bit appendix field. Half of that revenue funds the bot; the other half flows back to traders as fee discounts, leaderboard rewards, guild treasury, and referral payouts.

Is there a Halcyon token? +

No. HXP is a database point — not onchain, not transferable, not tradeable. It exists to gate cosmetics, fee discounts, and tournament eligibility. The economy is funded entirely from Builder Fee revenue, not token emission.

How do tiers work? +

Tiers progress from Drift → Tide → Tempest → Halcyon → Aeolus based on cumulative trading volume, weighted by consistency (active days). Each tier reduces your builder fee and multiplies HXP earn. Founding Halcyons (first 100 users) earn at 2× permanently.
